The company says that its core competency lies in its broadloom carpets which it manufactures using the highest levels of technology and then distributes under its own brand name. It has recently started selling its range of broadloom carpets under the names Mela, Bleecker, Gebra, Hochkonig and Elan. While its focus is on producing broadloom carpets, it also sells other fabrics such as nylon and suede.
So far Mega Carpets has been very successful in expanding into other industries. The company says that in the next few years it expects to have considerable growth in its business and revenues. Ikea Carpets It sees great opportunities in the area of wholesale carpet manufacturing and distribution in the Middle East. They believe that in the next few years they will experience an increase in the number of their customers. They currently have stores in Morocco, Israel, Turkey and Egypt but have also signed a deal with another company to open stores in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia and Singapore.
